What We Did & What National Ski Patrol Is

The National Ski Patrol is a national organization that provides medical, rescue, and hazard prevention services to the injured in ski area boundaries, and beyond into backcountry settings and non-suburban environments. Thanks to Charles Minot Dole, the president of the National Ski Patrol (at the time), took notice and set about forming an official mountaineering division of the US Army. Which ultimately became the United States Army’s 10th Mountain Division.

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, my sunset sky.

— Rabindranath Tagore

My Involvement in National Ski Patrol

I trained for 1 year as an entry level recruit in the National Ski Patrol. Training mostly in lifesaving operational tactics, and non-suburban survival scenarios. The main goal of the training is to provide life-saving measures for individuals, as well as support measures for the immediate team, and overall troop I was a part of.
